Economics Education And Research Consortium (EERC)

 

The Eurasia Foundation invites proposals from economists interested in serving as visiting faculty in the M.A. Program in Economics at the University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" in Kyiv, Ukraine. During the 2000-2001 academic year, courses will be taught in the following subjects: Lectures and course materials will be in English. Instruction will be organized in five eight-week mini-terms per year (roughly September-October; November-December; January-February; March-April; and May-June). Teaching load is two courses. Visiting faculty will receive competitive compensation in the form of a stipend in dollars, housing accommodation, and transportation. Inquiries and applications should be sent to either address below. To apply, please submit a two-page proposal and a brief CV. Proposals should state the field(s) in which the applicant would like to offer courses; describe the level, scope, and possible texts; and indicate in which mini-term(s) the applicant would be available.

EERC staff will be available to conduct interviews at the AEA meetings in Boston in January 2000.
