Country Director, Russia and the CIS

Doctors of the World USA seeks experienced public health professional to manage project for at-risk children and youth and develop new public health programs focused on children and adolescents in Russia, the NIS and Mongolia. Direct staff of medical professionals and lead project development and fundraising efforts.

Requirements: Fluent Russian, 3-5 years experience international experience managing public health/development programs; experience in project design/evaluation, experience as donor liaison.

MPH or equivalent and Russian nationals strongly preferred.

Assessment Mission Physician--Kazakstan

Doctors of the World USA seeks a Russian or Kazakh speaking physician familiar with the health care systems of Newly Independent States to join assessment team for 4 week fact-finding mission.

Responsibilities include: meeting with health organizations, NGO and government entities in Kazakstan to gather data about the scope of the HIV outbreak and the current treatment and prevention programs, and production of report of findings.
