Counterpart International seeks qualified candidates for a technical advisor position to a Women's Business Association in Kokand, Uzbekistan.Qualifications:
Responsibilities/Roles:
- Significant experience in business; clothing production, retail, or wholesale operations; marketing; consulting, advising, and/or managing small businesses.
- Strong written/verbal communication, financial management, financial forecasting, and computer skills required. MBA degree and Uzbek or Russian language skills are strongly preferred. Must be a self-starter, team leader, and work well with local clients and staff.

- Work with local management team to implement program activities: vocational training centers, leasing circles, cooperative sales, raw material banks, and innovative initiatives that will increase the economic opportunities for rural women in Uzbekistan.
- Full responsibility for financial and managerial accounting, cashflow and cost recovery analyses, and performance reports on the program.
- Liaison between Business Women's Association branches, members, and public; responsible for marketing/advertising program in local community, and developing strategic partnerships with other private and public organizations, community and governmental leaders to accomplish program goals.
- Must foster an open door, team environment and serve as a mentor and supporter for local staff and clients.
- Must work with and balance needs and interests of the Association, staff, individual clients and community.
