The Central and East European Law Initiative (CEELI), a project of the American Bar Association which provides technical legal assistance in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Newly Independent States (NIS), seeks a Regional Institution-Building Advisor to work overseas with CEELI representatives and local law-related NGOs to develop and implement strategies for long-term organizational and financial sustainability. Term: initially 1 year, beginning Fall 1999. Location: Kyiv, Ukraine, but requires significant travel in the region. Must be self-starter with at least 3 years experience working on NGO development in CEE or NIS. Prefer fluency in Russian. Salary: negotiable, based on experience.
