The Center for Citizen Initiatives (CCI), in San Francisco, currently has four job openings, available immediately. CCI operates programs designed to support the continued development of democratic institutions and a sustainable, free-market economy in Russia.

The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP) is currently CCI's largest program for Russia. PEP is an adaptation of the historic Marshall Plan's Technical Assistance Program and brings non-English-speaking Russian manufacturers and business owners to the United States for intensive business management training in American companies.

CCI Administrative Assistant

The CCI Administrative Assistant provides general and clerical support, support to the Office Manager, and handles projects as assigned by CCI executive officers. Other responsibilities include: receive and direct visitors, incoming calls, mail and faxes; maintain front desk; manage databases and filing systems; assist with fund raising and donation mailings; process visa applications; maintain office supplies; and other related projects.

Requirements:

Salary: $22,00 - $25,000 DOE. Available Immediately

PEP Program Officer--Russian Operations / Travel Coordinator

The PEP Program Officer--Russian Operations/Travel Coordinator, provides support to the Russian Operations department, maintains a Russian participant database, and coordinates all travel arrangements for PEP participants coming to the U.S. for training. The department is responsible for communication with PEP's seven regional offices in Russia, screening and selecting candidates for participation, and working with regional offices for all Russia-side program preparations.

Requirements:

Salary: $27,000-$28,500 DOE Available Immediately

PEP Program Officer--Community Outreach

The PEP Program Officer for Community Outreach is primarily responsible for approaching and maintaining contact with service organizations in order to secure U.S. sponsorship of delegations. This position entails developing strategies for presenting the program to potential sponsors; communicating to potential sponsors via phone, fax, email and formal presentations; researching and targeting communities well suited to host delegations of Russian business people for training; maintaining contact databases; and creating and designing materials.

Requirements:

Salary: $26,000 - $29,000 DOE Available Immediately

PEP Program Assistant

The PEP Program Assistant provides support to the program staff in recruiting and working with US service organizations to coordinate training programs for Russian delegations. Other responsibilities include: provide assistance to program staff with correspondence, mailings and press releases, data entry, material design and formatting, and other delegation-related matters; develop and maintain PEP database systems and computer archives; maintain PEP office filing, computer filing systems, and procedures; research; and other related projects.

Requirements:

Salary: $22,000-$25,000 DOE Available Immediately
