Job DescriptionThe Productivity Enhancement Program, a variation of the historic Marshall Plan Technical Assistance program, focuses on rebuilding Russian domestic production by training the managers and entrepreneurs at the forefront of this momentous transition. With the help of facilitators/interpreters and host communities, non-English speaking Russian business people receive intensive training in multiple U.S. production sites for one month. Delegates rigorously analyze and document learning acquired during their study to better apply it to their own companies and to become trainers themselves upon returning to Russia.
As with all CCI programs, PEP aims to empower citizens, not officials, to take responsibility for societal change.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The program assistant provides support to the program staff in recruiting and working with US service organizations to coordinate training programs for Russian delegations. More specifically, duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Required Skills:
- Maintain PEP office filing & computer file systems & procedures
- Maintain materials & supply stock
- Provide support to program staff
- Correspondence
- Mailings and Press Releases
- Data Entry
- Meeting & Receptions arrangements
- Develop & maintain PEP database system & computer archives
- Develop, maintain, troubleshoot & refine PEP computer systems
- Utilize internet for research, communications
- Update program materials
- Keep meeting notes of PEP meetings
- Other projects as assigned
Salary: $22,000-25,000 plus excellent benefits
