Volunteers needed at Lake Baikal

The Baikal Institute for Ecology and Natural Resources Use invites volunteers to participate in a summer camp for children. Aims of the project are: environmental education of teenagers, development of their social skills through role games and to provide an opportunity for volunteers acquainted to learn about the unique nature of Lake Baikal. Volunteers will deal with groups of children (age 10-15 years old) and organize various activities such as hiking, sport competitions and ecological studies. The camp will be located at the warmest place on Lake Baikal (accommodation in a wooden house, three people per room). There will be an opportunity to have some excursions.

Dates of sessions:
1) June 8 - 22
2) June 22 - July 6
3) July 6 - 20
4) July 20 - August 3
5) August 3 - 17
6) August 18 - 31.

You are welcome to any session.
Unfortunately this year we cannot pay food because of the economic crisis in Russia. So you'll have to pay a little sum of money for food and registration.

For official invitation we need your full name, passport number, date and place of birth.
