STEK produces high quality pressure sensors that are intended to be used for continuous monitoring of pressure in various systems at temperature from -45C to +80C. All metrological characteristics remain the same within this temperature range. The STEK pressure sensors are comparable to the world's best, but their price is 2 to 4 times lower.
For several years our sensors have been standard equipment on locomotives that are used by the Russian Ministry of Railway. More than 1,000 sensors have already been installed. The sensor has the number 14509-95 in the Russian State registry of measuring instruments and the "type state" certificate number 1394 from 10.04.95. Every sensor produced is fully tested at the State Regional Standardization and Metrology Center.
Normally STEK produces three wire sensors with an input measurement scale of 10 bars and an output current of 0-5 ma as is required by the Russian Ministry of Railway. However, we can produce two wire sensors with an input measurement scale of 6,10,25,or 60 bars and an output current of from 4-20 ma. The sensor is connected to a measured environment by means of a M20*1,5mm male pressure port. It is also possible to produce these sensors with other pressure port types, including the G1/4 in. female pressure port.
10 companies take part in the production of the sensors, supplying pressure sensing elements and mechanical parts according to our specifications. The highly skilled personnel of STEK Ltd. then produce the sensor's electric component, based on our original electric schemes. We also assemble and tune the sensors and carry out temperature and metrological testing. This structured production process allows us to keep the sensor price at the level of $200-250.
STEK is ready to consider any proposal for distributing the present sensors or for arranging joint production of new types of sensors.
We are interested in business partners who are able to distribute our sensors to customers inside and outside Russia.
Proposals for arranging joint production of a new sensor type are very welcomed. In this case we can hand over our electric scheme solutions for making the electric part of the sensors as a chip. It should minimize the size of the sensor. Moreover STEK Ltd. can do assembling, tuning and testing of the sensor. After that we will pass on the sensors to the partner at the lowest possible price for future distribution.
We are looking for your proposals.
Sincerely yours,
Alexander Fedonin,,
Director
